Painted in the traditional Khaki Green, this model represents the time when the First World War became less an army of movement and more a stagnant trench warfare.
As the shelling ripped up the ground , the traditional narrow spoked wheels became bogged down in the quagmire and the stronger and wider spaded wheels came to the fore.
Our Four man crew depicts the officer cleaning his binoculars awaiting the synchronised time to commence bombardment. The crew are ready with one soldier priming the fuse, one ready to load and one ready with ramrod.
